Training Packages-Metal Fabrication

During the last couple of years there have been some major developments in the training sector.  Training Packages have emerged as the preferred mode for training with the importance focussed on National Recognition of Qualifications, breaking down the state boundries that previously exsisted.

At Central West College of TAFE in Geraldton we have arranged our Metal Fabrication Workshop to suit the flexible delivery of the training packages.  To highlight these changes we delivered a workshop at the Training Forum at the Burswood.  The workshop was very successful with some fantastic feedback generated.  Attached is a copy of the slide presentation.

Hi Andrew, I have just finished looking at your slideshow presentation. it looks terrific. I am located at Southern QLD Institute of TAFE, Roma Campus. Approx 6000 people and from what I have seen it looks as if I am having the same problems that you have had in the past. Lack of student numbers for a full class for one unit, having to run composite classes & lack of good facilities & resources. It has given me some ideas as to what I may be able to do in Roma. Well done.
