Interactivity in online learning

Have you ever done a google search for the word interactivity? You will find it used in the most unusual places usually as an adjective that has been included as a selling point. Interactivity is generally regarded as a "GOOD THING" but what is it really and what does it mean for e-learning?

This website is the result of a TAFE Frontiers funded project. It provides multiple ways to investigate interactivity -

  • through stories of real life practioners
  • through the transformative journey of two online newbies, Alberta and Robert
  • through searchable databases of ready made and DIY tools
  • through description and advice on a range media and strategies
  • through pedagogical background
  • through games such as google whacking and emoderation musical chairs
  • through visual as well as text based approaches

Please take a look. Kick the tyres and go for a test drive.
