Human Activity Systems

This paper examines the human activity within a learning environment as a system and uses a systems approach to analyse the role of culture within it. It also takes the perspective that a student  is a  product of the learning environment, so in this analysis a strong  reliance is placed on modern theories of teaching and learning as expressed in the academic literature of science, mathematics and  technology education.
