Open source afficionados and those looking for a bargain

This page, which is part of a blog, lists a large number of open source course management systems. The page is just links to the creators sites, but some of the systems are reviewed in a related web site.

The rest of this site is worth a good look to. Lots of good ed tech stuff.

Perhaps, because Australian institutions are aware of the raging copyright war being waged against IBM and Linux companies by SCO-Unix who claims as the original source code owner. See: http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,4149,1238509,00.asp

Have you seen Rob Reynold's review of open source learning management systems? A good and thorough review, at .. http://www.xplana.com/whitepapers/archives/Open_Source_Courseware

what do you mean nothing Australian? Moodle from WA is listed!

(ps, the SCO suit is a furphy - most in the linux community believe it has no basis in fact.)
